Outside Sales – Industrial Controls

We represent top-tier manufacturers and offer innovative technology solutions to the process control industry. We are seeking an experienced and driven Outside Sales Engineer to take over an established territory covering Northern Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Kern Counties. This role offers a strong foundation of existing accounts and excellent growth potential. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers in the food & beverage, oil & gas, water/wastewater, pharmaceutical, and general industrial markets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth by promoting our portfolio of industrial control solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers, assisting them in selecting the right products for their applications.
  • Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with our internal team and manufacturer partners to develop strategic sales plans and achieve revenue targets.
  • Maintain a strong presence in the field through customer visits, trade shows, and industry networking.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience or 3-years of insides sales support in industrial controls, automation, instrumentation, or related technical sales.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand industrial control products and applications.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience).
  • Commission: Uncapped commission structure with significant earning potential.
